Born 7-28-1908 in Ballinger Texas. Leo was an Electrician by trade. he lived for a while in El Paso before moving to Douglas AZ where he met and married Nora Bell Floyd. Leo was an electrician at the copper smelter. They later moved to Taft California and then to San Luis Obispo CA where they settled for good. He worked on many of the power plants in California including Diablo Nuclear Power Plant near San Luis Obispo where he worked as a forman.
In 1959 Leo and Nora made room in their 850 square foot home for daughter Louise and her brood of 5 children who left an abusive dead beat husband, Eugene Hunter, and a year later bought another home for themselves and let Louise's family have the old one.
Leo was quite a character and quite the teller of tall tales.
