Teton Village sits at the bottom of world class Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Ski Area that is the resort in the Grand Teton Mountains just south of the Grand Teton National Park entrance station. This world famous ski mountain was the brainchild of Paul McAlister and the Village at the bottom was the result.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort boasts more than 4,000-vertical feet of varied terrain at the Jackson Hole Ski Area. Minimal lift lines except for the busy holidays are the norm because the resort is not driving distance from any metropolitan centers. Teton Village attracts both beginner and expert skiers and snowboarders alike from around the world.

From hiking and biking, to live music, food and shopping, the "Village" is a destination not to be missed. The bunny slopes double in summer as a lift served mountain biking and ultimate Frisbee.

Teton Village is home to a vast array of great shopping, fantastic dining options and Teton Village abounds with cultural options. Several of the best dining spots of Jackson Hole are in Teton Village. Whether you’re looking for outdoor dining with mountain views or a fun bar scene, it’s within easy reach of any village hotel, there are even a couple of restaurants up the mountain; well one only has a single menu item – Waffles. High-end boutiques, sporting goods stores, handcrafted home items, and many other select retail shops around the Teton Village commons.

Walk Festival Hall is a beautiful concert venue next-door hosts regular concerts from the legendary Grand Teton Music Festival symphony orchestra throughout July and August. During summer symphonies everywhere go on break, many of the most talented musician from them chose to spend their summer in Jackson Hole.

A western experience is right in front of a modern 4-star hotel, the sight is quite a juxtaposition of new and old, and the new disappears right after you ride that horse over the hill. Wildlife is a part of village life, Moose are regular visitors, and black bears sometimes choose some residential huckleberry patches. Oh course Mule deer are ubiquitous and elk are often seen.   The bald eagles have discovered the trout pounds of Shooting Star Golf course and can often be seen digesting their meal on the power poles before you turn into the village.
